Each day introduces new sport activities teaching the skills and drills associated with each sport. John’s new indoor climbing camp is directed by Coach Stewart Ball, and will be hosted at Movement, The Hill, a newly opened climbing gym and fitness facility located at Walnut Hill and 75. Maybe you will be the next Master Chef!! This camp can accommodate nut allergies. Love to cook? Join us for a fun week of culinary challenges, teamwork, showdowns, technique and tasty fun! A fun and delicious experience that will have you auditioning for the next kid's cooking show. This Kids-Choice Challenge Island adventure puts a 100% SCREEN-FREE STEAM twist on popular video games: From Super STEAMio to Island Blox to Mine Island to Fort Island to retro-inspired games like Space Aliens and Pinball Machines! You and your STEAM Team will swap game consoles for creativity and joysticks for ingenuity and imagination as you take on Islands of low-tech STEAM challenges created with game-loving kids in mind! The skills will be taught in a non-competitive manner with the focus on positive interaction. The volleyball camp includes fun, action, knowledge building and teamwork and will develop skill components including strength, endurance, accuracy and improved coordination. The camp will build confidence and self-esteem in each session of the camp. Kidokinetics Volleyball camp introduces the fundamentals as well as creates a fun learning experience which enables children to determine their interest and ability in the sport. Learn the ins and outs of all things 2nd grade, and have fun with your friends and teachers while doing it! You will walk into the first day of second grade feeling confident and prepared for anything that comes your way! Day for fun-filled mornings of language arts and math activities that will get you ready for 2nd grade. This course is for those who love science, math, phenomena, and Pokemon! How do the creatures we love manipulate light, sound, and the powerful physics found in nature, and use them to attack and defend? From fractions to refraction, Fibonacci, sound waves, and sonar, this course explores the coolest physics as seen through the abilities of those adorable pocket monsters! Welcome to First Grade! During this week we will explore new subjects each day, including reading, writing, morning meeting, math explorations and games, science and more! This camp will help you meet and reconnect with friends, learn about first grade, and feel comfortable and confident starting your school year. Bikes will be stored on the SJES Campus for the week for easy transport. *Campers will need their own bikes and helmets for this camp. Our instructors are experienced in making sure children overcome their fears and experience the thrill of riding a bike on their own. Your child will learn to ride skillfully and safely in the confines of St. John’s now offers a great learn-to-ride camp for kids from K-4th grade! Beginning Biking is directed by Coach Stewart Ball, founder of Dallas Bicycling School. By the end of the week, they will play a song! Plus, it’s a great stepping stone toward learning guitar! Students will learn basic melodies and simple chords using easy-to-read charts and TAB notation. Treat your child to a crash course in all things ukulele with our Ukulele camp! Kids can learn all about this awesome little instrument starting with how it works and some of its history.

Instructor: DIMA (Dallas Institute of Musical Advancement) This combine will combine mostly hands on learning with some relevant screen time. They'll have some fun with robots and begin to think about engineering using Snap Circuits, pennies, popsicle sticks, and LEGO's. Kids will learn basic block coding and animation. We end the week by inviting members of the Royal family to a ball on July 29 at 11:30 a.m.Įvery kiddo loves a fun party! Our STEAM Party Lab will introduce several different aspects of Tech and STEAM. Together they will dance, share stories, play games, attend the “beauty parlor” and work on special crafts. Princesses will come from near and far to spend time with magical princesses characters.
